It's October 2007 in Chicago and the leaves and the temperature are falling. Enter a little girl from the sunshine
state ready to take in the big city. One minor setback...that delicious Florida tan she adores no longer comes naturally.
When she stares at her pale Cuban body she thinks YIKES! Ever the adaptable kitten she had to think quickly
and threw herself into researching the sunless tanning industry. Golden Girl Chicago is born.

 Flash forward 5 years and wow life has changed. My overwhelming passion for the perfect tan has led to a dream
career that I get to share with my best friend. Enter Amie Miller, an equally fiery and fun loving  girl with a love
for amazing hair...trust me this girls got skills. We become fast friends. Client by client we both build our
businesses on word of mouth referrals. We are doing what we love and paying the rent...high five!

Eventually we realize that I can't tan everyone that's calling and Amie hops on the tanning train too.
Choo Choooo!! I teach her everything I know and our train is moving a little faster. Chug a chug a. We build a
little room in Lincoln Park so that I'm not only tanning door to door but I have a home base too. Chug a chug a.
We launch our product line featuring your favorite Golden Girl's, and in May 2011 we are up to our earrings in
tans and updo's. Chug a chug a. It's August 2011...it's go time! We put our pennies together and start
looking for our own location. We find a gem of a spot above Johnnie's Snack Shop in Chicago's West Loop
neighborhood. CHOOOO CHOO!!! We move in and start creating our dream space. We can't say thank you
enough to the people who have continued to encourage and support us, there are far too many to even begin listing.
You are here on the pages of our site, living and loving life and we thank you for choosing to share your
 moments with us. To all the future Golden Girls (and guys) we have yet to meet...no matter what they may
say it's always sunny in Chicago.
